Permanent Secretary visits ARK Atwood

Earlier this month we were visited by Chris Wormald, the Permanent Secretary at the Department for Education. He met with staff and pupils and particulary enjoyed meeting and speaking with pupils during Headteacher's Afternoon Tea.

After his visit, Mr Wormald sent us a letter in which he commented on the positive impact we are making at ARK Atwood and wished us every success in the future.

He said: 'ARK Atwood demonstrates the benefits of strong leadership and your commitment to excellent staff and teaching. You should be very proud of the impact the school is having on its students.'
