The children learned all about the history of the Abbey and even got to try on Queen Elizabeth’s crown!
The children were awed by the intricate designs and the sheer size of the building. They used the opportunity to apply all they had learned about Christianity in RWE and wowed the tour guides with their in depth knowledge. They even ate lunch in the cloister where many monks had walked. The children received many compliments from the staff and were brilliant Atwood ambassadors.
